I’ve seen some rational posts today. So I’m adding to it because this board is full of over emotional adults and I’m tired of reading over the top dramatic threads.
- We had a complete coaching change in December. We RISKED getting worse.
- they did not have enough time to recruit for the 2019 class. We RISKED going backwards in another recruiting class.
- We really don’t know if we would be that talented on offense in ‘19 outside of a few singular players . We HOPED that we would be.
- defense was better last year but not good. We HOPED it wouldn’t be worse.
- we knew the odds were that we would not be good and need to give the coaching staff time. We HOPED that it would happen sooner.
- we HOPED Bowman was the real deal based on limited games last year and we HOPED this staff could get us to 7+ wins this year
We RISKED going backwards in our football program by firing Kliff/hiring Wells and Co.
(I’m not saying it should not have happened)
We HOPED things would turn out well anyway.
None of this is a surprise. We are where we are now. It sucks currently. It’s 4 games in. Settle down.
