About a month ago we discovered our concrete foundation had a long crack running along the back kitchen wall. It's a fairly thick and deep crack in some spaces but it hasn't done any damage to the wall yet and it shows no signs of the wall settling. We had a guy come out today to give an estimate and he'll have to do some tests to figure our exactly what's happening.
Long story short, my question is have any of you guys had experience with repairing a crack like this? I don't have a basement and I'm not 100% sure what caused it but I'm hoping like hell insurance will help cover it, not holding my breath with my luck though.
Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.
