John Eddie Williams, a Houston attorney who is a significant Baylor donor, paid for a law firm to "review [...] the public record" of what he refers to as a "travesty of justice" and a "massively-publicized but little understood period" at Baylor that led to Art Briles' dismissal as head football coach. Williams notes in his cover letter that the Alston & Bird review "does not claim to have examined every allegation," but says that was "not the purpose of this effort."

We have obtained a copy of the entire 23-page document, including Williams' cover letter which summarizes the review's "important findings," and have included a link to download it below if you are interested in reading it.
