Heading to Lubbock tomorrow with my wife (not following rule #1) and 2 sons to try to sell my oldest son on Tech. A&M is the leader in the club house (I threw up in my mouth just typing that, but it’s his life) with OU and OSU a distant T2. Hopefully saving the best for last as we couldn’t make schedules work to visit earlier in the fall. I haven’t been back since the 2008 Nebraska game, my wife hasn’t been back since we graduated in 92, and my boys have never been. I feel shame. The days really do fly by.
Our campus and College of Engineering tours tomorrow were canceled due to COVID, but we’re coming anyway. We were able to get basketball tickets for tomorrow night with the reschedule, and we have tickets for the pillow fight on Saturday.
Was hoping that seeing the “scenery” around campus would help, but the timing is no bueno for that. Will do our own tours of the campus during the day tomorrow afternoon and Saturday night to see all of the lights.
Recommendations for sights, eats, and atmosphere would be greatly appreciated. Free likes provided for your troubles. Apologies for the repetitive Vegas, Germans bombed moon thread. For tomorrow night and Saturday, LFG!
