Edit: So I guess it's running late after the game. Still probably going to be a cluster.
OP: A couple posts have mentioned this in other threads, but I don't want the information to get missed and anybody to get stranded.
NRG Park is the second-to-last stop on the south end of the Red Line, so you're probably planning to park north (museum district, downtown, etc.). The last train north leaves NRG around 11:28 p.m.
With the game starting at 8, make sure to have a plan for getting back to your vehicle that does not rely on you making that last train. Even if the game miraculously ends in 3 hours, the trains are not massive and there are going to be a lot of people. Your best bet for making that train is probably Tech getting mollywhopped and just leaving early, but I hope none of you are rooting for that. Uber and Lyft are probably going to be surge-charging and the wait may be extensive. Cabs are cabs.
Just fyi.
