Looking for advice on whether to have roofers show up to help with adjuster. Had a roofer come by and get up on my roof pointing out all the damage. They offered to meet with adjuster and myself to help in the process. I think it will be pretty straight forward that the roof is totalled. Not sure what assistance the roofers would provide if damage is obvious and don't want to feel obligated to use a roofer because they assisted with adjuster. I'm hoping insurance company cuts me a check and I get to shop for contractors, but not sure how it typically works. Any advice would be appreciated.
