Have a pistol(in night stand) and shotgun(under bed)that I would like to secure in separate safes to keep near my bed. Not concerned about theft, mainly just to keep my daughter and visiting kids safe. Would like the pistol to be quick/reliable to access and would prefer not to spend much more than $200. Any ideas? I was thinking the Browning PV 500. I was thinking I would probably just purchase a very basic combo locking safe for shotgun.
Oh, and sorry if this has been discussed. I searched "gun safe" and found mostly threads about a former linebacker...
