Just wanted to say thanks to all that gave ideas and things to do at the Grand Canyon. I had posted a topic about it a while back and just wanted to let all know that the trip was a success and we did everything that we wanted. We hiked down the Bright Angel to the 1 1/2 mile rest house with my 8 year old and my wife. Wish my son could have gone but I'm about 100% sure he would have ended up falling off. Will definently go back and take him down the trail in a couple more years. We did the rim trail with him and he had a blast. Overall was an awesome trip and will be going back with a better camera and will be hiking all the way to the bottom next time. Just wanted to let everyone know how the trip went and thanks again. Oh and pictures definently don't do it justice.
