So I got home from a movie last night to discover that some people broke into my house and robbed and damaged me to the estimated tune of $20k. Punks stomped my dog and caused quite a mess. My question...if anyone of you have been through something like this, what should I be doing to protect myself at this point?
So far I've contacted the bank and we are changing my account numbers and credit cards, gotten some video already from neighbors, and gotten meds that were stolen refilled.
I have on my list to contact the passport agency, file a homeowners claim, get a security system with cameras, and probably more that I can't think of due to lack of sleep.
Could really use a big upset on Saturday.
