Donald Trump has banned diversity training in the federal government, and threatened to defund any schools that accurately teach our history as it relates to slavery and state sanctioned brutality and discrimination.
I'm sure this whitewashed history appeals to this crowd, but it does nothing to bring this country together. In fact, it will do the opposite. It will placate racists and allow their propaganda to spread even more.
By the way, having sat through federal diversity training for years, it literally does none of the white supremacist accusations coming from Trump. At no time does it even remotely suggest white people are bad or America is racist. But Donald Trump hss never sat through a training class. He just knows he's reflexively against diversity and understanding
