If anyone from Lubbock that has seen him play or has any input feel free to chime in.
After re watching his film I forgot how big fast and explosive Curry is. Awesome that a local kid that is seemingly very talented is a Texas Tech Red Raider Exciting to be getting fast big tall and strong players with a motor under JFM. You know that those type of players will play their tail off for him. Not sure where TD plans on playing him (edge rusher behind Tillmon?) but coming in at 6-3 215 running a .. 4.6ish with those football skills is awesome. He looks super fast in short space. He is explosive and arrives at the ball with violence and on his senior highlights was dissecting plays well. Very Excited about his future under our staff. He should be 6-3 245 4.6 after a semester with our strength staff.
His senior highlights are above. He Seems like our type of player that thrives under JFM with not only the physical attributes, but a good attitude and an a motor that doesn't quit. Looks like he has Isaac Smith measurables (2 star recruit that is panning out and made some great plays in the bowl game vs Ole Miss). Him and Crawford in the same class is going to be salty.
Avion Carter and Major Everhart will be begging to come back in the next couple of years. We may be good enough to tell them to no by then.
