I used to teach there and am happy to see them break the skid. Lots of younger brothers and sisters of kids I taught are on the team -- yes, several girls. The high school only has 36 students enrolled, one of the 20 smallest schools in the state. My friends out there tell me that one of the girls on the team caught a crucial first-down pass late in the game to help run out the clock.
