Any sport, any rule. I’ve got two:
1. Football (all levels): The goalposts should have a third upright in the center of the crossbar at the same height as the outer uprights. If the kick hits the center post, it’s 4 points, not 3.
2. MLB: ERA calculations for relief pitchers. If a relief pitcher allows a runner to score, the pitcher who allowed that runner on base is charged with 1/2 a run and the reliever is charged with 1/2 a run.
