Gifts From Santa: wrap or no wrap

Family debate: My wife grew up with Santa gifts wrapped and I grew up with unwrapped. Santa leaving unwrapped gifts adds to the magic /excitement on Christmas morning. Let also not forget, Tim Allen delivered unwrapped gifts to prove Its the correct way.
