One thought has been bugging me a ton as I watch our team reach and grab for the ball instead of sure tackling.....
Turnovers are a HOPE, not a strategy. And while it is great to teach how to force TO's, at some point, we have to actually out coach and out strategize teams. I am not saying that Gibbs and his staff do not gameplan, of course they do. But, given our history and our talent level, we have to go beyond hoping that we get TO's and adjust to what and whom we are playing. OSU absolutely adjusted yesterday and we lost the strategic battle.
I definitely don't want to bail on Gibbs....in fact, that would set us back even more. But I think that our HC has got to be a visionary on this front and set the tone for who we are going to be......a team based on something besides hope.
