Met a neighborhood old timer/home builder that said he'd tear down a load bearing wall of mine (about 8 ft), implant the header stud, and demo surrounding tile and install 250 sq ft of vinyl plank for $3500 (doesnt include the planks).
My question is--is that suspiciously low or about right pricewise for that amount of work? I'm gonna keep shopping estimates to gauge it but curious if some red raiders have paid for residential wall removal or know the biz.
