Anybody got any good t-ball stories?
I am coaching a team this year. Had several funny things happen during last night's game.
1) During a "play at the plate" I look up to see my catcher's helmet and his glove lying neatly by the plate... But no catcher. Somehow during the chaos of the play, the catcher slipped right past me and headed off to the pisser.
2) My pitcher (my best athlete) was trying to run down the opposing teams best player and tag him out. After chasing him around second and third, the pitcher got tired and just fired the ball at the base runner thinking that if the ball hit him that he'd be out. Hit the baserunner upside the head. I thought the other coaches, parents, umps, etc. would throw a fit but they were all too busy laughing.
3) And probably the best, had the entire crowd cracking up... Mid game, I look up to see our center fielder taking a leak in the outfield.
Anybody have any other good stories to share? Fun, crazy and chaotic.
