Does this tagline bother anyone?

I get that it positions TTU as a gateway to a world of opportunities, and I respect that it doesn't over promise. But it's just so damn passive. Kinda beta. It feels 6-6, on the cusp, Tier III forever.

It's not an ownable statement either. Literally any university can make this wishy-washy claim (by the way, it's barely a claim).

I've had family members question it on game days (none of which went to Tech), and I've seen it used by RRS posters as a punchline.

Obviously I'm not a fan.

I'd love to see something that exudes the attitude of West Texas, the work ethic, or something truly more spirited - something no other university can say (Branding 101).

Curious what the general consensus is...
