Just had a call indicating that former Texas Tech Athletics Director T Jones died this afternoon around 2 PM. I have no further information at this time.
T served Texas Tech University from 1985-1993. I did not have much opportunity to interact with him during his tenure as I was working in Alaska most of that time. I did get to visit with him later in his life and he was always a gentleman and proud of his time at Texas Tech. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
