Forensic Files is on Amazon Prime and I cant stop watching it, even though its old is still great. I'm watching an episode about the 2001 double homicide of Associate Dean of Libraries Doug Miller and Viola McVade. I don't think I've ever hear about this case before. Lubbock PD found the two victims at Canyon Lakes Park. Investigators found the tip of a latex glove and were able to trace it to Vaughn Ross, the boyfriend of McVade's sister, using DNA. The glove ripped when Ross tried to move one of the bodies. Ross was subsequently convicted of capital murder and executed in 2013. Really interesting story and great work by the LPD.
