Here are a few images my wife (who works in marketing at Covenant) took of the football players interacting with cancer patients at Covenant here in Lubbock.
- Funniest part of the day: Mahomes introduces himself to my wife and my wife asks him which position he plays, and the entire team laughs
- Best part of the day: My wife said Mahomes in-particular told every patient he wanted them to know they were rooting for him/her, they believed in him/her, and they were excited for him/her to get better.
- Second best part of the day: My wife tells the team I am more committed to them than I am to her.
- Only bad part of the day: The team walked into one cancer patient's room and the patient said, "oh, I'm a Baylor fan" and refused to speak with the players
