Before I get in all the great things about this Doc I will full admit that the production value, specifically the present day interviews, are pretty bad. Literally looks like most were shot in your Grandmother's kitchen with a Sony Handycam from 1998.
Anyway, this Doc centers around the 1968 Harvard-Yale Game. Tommy Lee Jones was a Gaurd for Harvard. Calvin Hill, Cowboys 1969 1st Round Draft pick, was a RB at Yale. A guy for Yale was dating Meryl Streep at the time, another was roommates with George W Bush. Garry Trudeau, Doonesbury creator, was a young cartoonist at Yale and featured many of the players in his strip.
The film is a combination game footage and interviews, and the game footage is awesome. The goalposts, the flags, the numbers, the tackling, the kicking, the TV Replay - it's all so different from the football we know today. It's all great to see how it used to be.
Granted, the title kinda gives it away, but it's still a great watch. Definitely recommend it.
