I was watching the "Foods That Built America" series and it's the pizza episode, with Pizza Hut and Domino's, and it got me to thinking the following questions;
What year was it, and how old were you, the first bite of pizza you had ? Myself, I was 10-11 in 1969
What city were you in ? Myself, Roswell, NM
What pizza company ? Myself, Pizza Hut
Plain cheese pizza, or what toppings ? Crust ? Myself, pepperoni, and I guess what became known as hand tossed.
In that episode it is amazing the two most successful pizza franchises came out of Kansas and Michigan, and no one with an Italian heritage was in ownership.........
