Quick thoughts postgame as always.

-It is astonishing how this game went. Tech refused to put the Jayhawks away and the offense was nearly completely inept. The defense was playing well enough.

-It all changed in the final drive of the game when it all magically turned around. Morton threw the ball better than he had all day and Jerand Bradley turned it on.

-Tahj Brooks is one of the best college backs I’ve watched. Dude is just so fun to watch, very glad to see him succeed like this week in and week out. Really, the only playmaker on offense.

-The defense was really, really strong. Obviously, the Red Raiders looked horrible on the 8-plus minute 99-yard drive that fell short of the endzone. Tech played really well otherwise, you bottled up Neal and the run game and you made a freshman QB look like a freshman.

-Absolutely one of the biggest play of the game, big time play from Brayln Lux. Just super exciting to see that happen.

-Rabbit made a hell of a play on that ball, did really well to make a play when Tech needed one. Going to be interesting to see how you replace him after this season, going to be tough.

-Hutchings and Bradford played a really strong game, got pressure pretty well with consistency. I really thought Esters looked good early.

-The wide receivers continue to have trouble creating separation, Bradley made a nice catch near the end of the third but was a non-factor otherwise. Tech’s offense, especially in the pass game, was extremely awful today. No blocking on the outside, no separation.

-With that said, Morton had many times where he could’ve made much better decisions with the ball, it was really frustrating to see that ball get thrown into triple coverage and to see him take a sack when it is not necessary.

-Was good to see Ty Buchanan back and it seemed he played alright.
