Fun win. Didn’t think you’d pull it out but this team was different in the final moments.
Some thoughts…
-Rebounding was once again really tough against this group. Just not this team’s strong suit, especially without Warren.
-The whole team struggled to shoot it, I’m not going to single out anyone. It was just rough all around.
-Tech seemingly couldn’t buy a timely stop for the majority of the second half and the perimeter defense didn’t help. That changed in the final five minutes, Tech was strong on the boards late and was able to give themselves a chance.
-Kye’Ron had some really nice flashes, things we’re going in the right direction and then you have a key turnover late. He was solid overall though. Cool to see him take some steps in the right direction after being buried alive on the depth chart just a few months ago.
-What an excellent moment for Darrion Williams to tie it at 71.
-Toussaint and Pop were really distributing well in the final moments. Tough games from the field but they really made their impact late.
-Huge, huge win. Get healthy Warren.
