GGG and Canelo going at it next Saturday night. I think HBO PPV has it, but it may be Showtime. Who you got?
I've been on the Golovkin bandwagon for a while, but I gotta say that recently my thinking is shifting in favor of the great Mexican champion. I'm still undecided.
I've always admired GGG's devastating jab and iron chin, but he is 35 now and time remains undefeated. As recently as May, he was still the number 1 or 2 middleweight. That chin though, and that face-caving jab....
Alvarez is a beast. His only loss was a majority decision against Mayweather. Mayweather has picked Alvarez to win this fight against GGG, and that is also playing in my head. Alvarez doesn't really cut off the ring, but Golovkin doesn't look to evade either. I think this is GGG's normal fight and it helps Canelo.
For now I'm still mulling it over, who you got?
