Ok so we are heading out around October 9. Any suggestion for wife and 2 kids (11,13) for hiking and possible rent mountain bikes would be appreciated. This is a challenging time due to proximity to snow so that's the main reason I'm posting this.

Honestly looking for a place that is reasonable and has trails very close, if not right out the front door, that are still hike-able first week October. With decent dining options as well.
