Missouri went south after the game and Colorado won a share of the National Championship. Very interesting trivia. Did not remember it specifically as there have been several of those mistakes over the years. Did remember Colorado winning or tying for National Championship under McCartney that year. Bienemy played running back for them.
Ezekial Elliot's Father played for Missouri at LB in 1990 in game where Colorado got a 5th down.
