so far this year we beat a very dangerous Houston team, beat the #15 team on the road handily (who we have struggled against for a decade), and lost today by 8 to the #12 team with a heisman contender QB.
And all this with now our 3rd string QB, injury to 2nd best defensive player (JJ) and injuries to star RBs and WR.
We still have great potential to win many many games this year and have OU and Texas at home. Could still go 10-2 or 3-9 but we matchup with anyone left on the schedule.
Our defense is so much improved from years past it isn’t even funny. Shutting down teams for a half at a time like we have the last two weeks is progress.
Our head coach isn’t killing players in two-a-days, or conspiring with Wife beaters, or looking the other way from gang bangs. Nor are we buying cars for recruits and waiting for the NCAA hammer.
Everyone back off the ledge and enjoy the season. We only get 12 of these a year and anything can happen.
