We are entering day 2 of the “official” coach search. After doing some research, several big programs who announced coaching changes in 2017 took a week to announce their new hire. It’s been 2 days for us.
2 days ago people were over the moon about Seth Littrell and today he’s suddenly an underwhelming hire. We loved Seth up until Dana’s name was floated out there, now suddenly Seth hasnt accomplished anything. Several people have mentioned that it’s a lateral move to fire Kliff if we’re going to end up with Littrell. WTF. That’s insanity.
Kirby is a smart man, he would not have fired Kliff without a strong sense of direction to who he was after. For all we know he could be going after someone we haven’t heard anything about. Last year when Kliff was on the verge of being fired and Kirby gave him one more year, many Kliff defenders said we ought to trust Kirby 100% so keep that same exact energy for this instance.
It’s day #2, we don’t know shvt. Please calm the hell down.
