ESPN, according to several reports, is making massive cuts today on all their properties. They are bringing in extra HR people for the process.
I doubt that will affect the Longhorn Network as those contracts have long been signed, but if that's typical of the kind of reckless spending that was going on there, no wonder The World Wide Leader is in trouble. They were spending money like a drunk sailor.
Having said that, I can't tell you the last time I sat through a nightly Sports Center. That crap in the morning, when most people are at work, is mind-numbing.
Right now, in a typical week, I'll watch most of College Game Day, and live events, and if there's a 30 for 30 re-run that interests me, and that's it.
