ESPN president resigns, fighting substance abuse

I know this was on a post at the end of a long thread about ESPN, but John Skipper, ESPN president, resigned effective immediately amid stories of substance abuse.If I were in charge of a network that created the Longhorn Network and was on the hook for millions and millions, I could understand all of this.
