because of those lying Fs from aggy
"Statement from Texas Tech University:
Many of you are aware of a tweet from a Texas A&M official that their team buses were spray painted and animal feces were spread inside of the buses early Saturday morning. The clear implication of the tweet was that this was the responsibility of Texas Tech fans or students. Texas Tech has conducted an investigation regarding this allegation, and has discovered the following:
* The buses were not spray painted. Instead, washable shoe polish was used on the windows of one of the buses.
* No feces were found either in or on the buses. Fish bait was dropped onto the floor of one of the buses.
* The alleged "vandalism" was cleaned by the bus drivers and Holiday Inn staff before it was seen by the A&M official who tweeted the information.
While incidents such as the ones alleged are inappropriate and strongly condemned by Texas Tech, it is no less wrong to condemn the entirety of our university, students and supporters by posting inaccurate information on the internet for the purpose of sensationalizing the actions of one or a very few. We are disturbed by the careless use of social media to share these inaccuracies..."
and those GD MFs were also responsible for this:
F you aggy, yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever.
More on the bus story:
Early reports said the substance smelled like manure but Medawar (Holiday Inn General Manager) confirmed that the substance in the bus was fish bait, not manure when KCBD spoke with him on Monday afternoon.
Texas Tech officials are investigating reports that Texas A&M's team buses were vandalized before the game on Saturday, but there have been no reports filed with Lubbock police or the Department of Public Safety.
KCBD NewsChannel 11 contacted the Department of Public Safety and the Lubbock Police Department on Monday, but both have denied receiving a report related to the incident.
"We have absolutely nothing on it. Not one report was received related to this incident, nor do we have any pictures," DPS Corporal John Gonzalez said.
LPD Spokesman Sgt. Jonathan Stewart said "We have no reports of the incident."
Texas Tech Athletic Director Blayne Beal says Texas A&M notified them of the incident and they are looking into it.
"We are currently investigating the incident as we speak," Beal said, "but neither I nor anyone else in this office has seen a police report or photo related to the allegations. It is to our understanding that no police report was filed."
Texas Tech Communications Director Chris Cook said, "It's unfair and unfortunate that our students were immediately pinpointed as the culprits in this alleged incident - it's unfounded,"
The Charter America Bus Company that owns the buses say they have "no comment" on the incident.
Texas A&M Athletic Director Bill Byrne tweeted: "Someone vandalized our buses in Lubbock. Excrement inside and outside of buses plus spray painted vulgarities on outside. Classy."
Texas Tech is describing the incident as a "prank" and not an act of vandalism.
Texas Tech Student Body President Tyler Patton wrote a letter to Texas Tech University President Guy Bailey Sunday saying the University "should take a more proactive approach in calling this for what it is: unverifiable allegations puffed up by our conference rivals to further reduce our credibility as a student body and as a university."
