First and foremost, it's a good thing a lot of people on this board aren't players or coaches since many think the season is over (time for basketball, tech football is no fun, Kliff is an idiot). Yes, Kliff's game management was not good last night and we are a very average football team. There are issues (penalties, special teams, Kliff's record as an underdog) that are very frustrating. One thing that was very encouraging last night was the effort of our players. There was no quit and we played really hard on both sides of the ball. How many times in the past couple of years has our "D" just spit up the bit when things started going downhill? Our D line held their own and got penetration several times. Our receivers continue to fight for the extra yard as well. I'm not sugarcoating some of the problems, just wanted to post something positive since I noticed us giving great effort for 4 quarters.
