Driving Through DFW Question

I’m driving into Dallas (staying near Love Field) on Thursday, will be driving in on I-20 from West Texas. I thought I’d get on I-30 and take it into Dallas, but Google is suggesting I take 820 to 183. I thought this route had a ton of construction going on.

So what’s the better route, should I take I-30 through the Mid-Cities or take 820/183?
