Normally I would think this would be a silly question but after really going over the stats I think it could be a legit question. Pat's stats are starting to give him a chance at a pretty historic season but he also has the measurables and arm strength to translate to the nfl.
I talked to a Vol fan who is a big recruiting guy and has watched Tech some. He says if they had Pat they'd be undefeated and probably take the east. I say well I'm glad we have him two more years and he scoffed and said probably just 1.
Pat has size, scrambles to throw not run, has a huge arm, protects the ball, and is 6'3. Kliff compared him to Rodgers which is lofty but even Winston is a good comparison.
I was thinking since next year would be a rebuilding year and we would be stacked his senior year then it would be a good enticement to come back. Passing behind laraven with these receivers has helped him, the offense is more than him but he is special.
Anyway, curious what yall thought as I know it's early and I think he would prob stay unless he is a 1st round pick but interesting that outsiders view him as a draft pick already.
