Just curious where everyone actually stands. Don't see many "stay the course" posters these days, but I'm sure there are some out there.

Personally I think he needs to go. I was holding out until KSU, but after that I've been convinced he's just not going to get it done here. Even if we beat UT and won a bowl game, we'd finish with the 7 wins I predicted and I'd still want him gone. It's not the tangible things, because the QB depth chart can kind of be explained and so can the kicking situation. At some point it all falls back to the head coach, but he's in a pretty unavoidable pickle there. With a good kicker and solid QB we'd probably have 7 wins right now and I don't think either of those things are his fault.

For me it's the other stuff. The demeanor of the whole team. The seeming lack of attitude or passion. They don't want to kill their opponent. No calm under pressure. That's something Tubs killed long ago and Kliff has done absolutely nothing to bring it back. I don't think he can. It's odd, because he seemed to have both a killer instinct and a calm under pressure attitude as a QB, but that's completely gone from this team. I don't think his leadership style is one that fits here.

Even if he does get it all figured out eventually, I think things have been soured too much for him at Tech to be effective. He couldn't recruit to this mess, which would set him up for worse failure down the road. Maybe he gets it together at some point, but it wont be here. Keeping him on only makes things worse.
