Recently overheard a conversation between 2 men I will call Herby and Biff that went something like this:
Herby- Are you optimistic about the way that things are going?
Biff- No, I never ever think of it at all.
Herby- Don't you ever worry when you see the team going down?
Biff- No, I try to mind my business, that is, no business at all.
Herby- When its time to function as a feeling human being and coach, will your Bachelor of Arts help you get by?
Biff- I hope to study further, a few more years or so, I also hope to keep a steady high!
Herby- Will you try to change things, use the power you have, the power of a million new dollars?
Biff- What is this power you speak of and this need for things to change? I always thought that everything was fine.
Herby- Don't you feel repression just closing in around?
Biff- No, the campus here is very, very free!
Herby- Don't it make you angry the way this season is dragging on?
Biff- Well I hope the AD knows what he's into, I don't know.
Herby- Don't you ever see the starvation in our fans, all the needless hunger, all the needless pain?
Biff- I haven't been there lately, the beaches are so fine. My neighbors don't seem hungry cause they haven't got the time.
Herby- Thank you for the talk, you know you really eased my mind. I was troubled by the shapes of things to come.
