the hero for the Red Sox in the 1986 ALCS against the Angels............

In reading the stories about his passing I noted they obviously feature that home run, but never mention the name of the pitcher he hit it off of........Donnie Moore, former Monterey Plainsmen.................

I guess that is because of Donnie committing suicide.........seems very politically correct.......
