Today's big back-to-school issue of the Daily Toreador included an article on the new outdoor track surface (link below). I thought perhaps a completely new track and field facility was going to be built somewhere west of Indiana Ave, by the HSC. With all the construction of academic and residence-hall buildings surrounding R.P. Fuller and congesting the area, it seemed that a new location for track and field would be in order. It looks from the article, however, that the track facility will stay put and just be resurfaced. The article also alluded to Tech hosting the Big 12 outdoor championships this coming spring!
