I’ve been thinking about this a lot.
During the Kliff (and to a lesser extent Wells years) we’d often look good for a half or so, only to collapse and fold like a wet napkin in the second half. Often losing in a blowout or via dumb mistakes late.
Under Joey, we’ve been pretty good in one score games, even after letting opponents stick around or come back. To be clear, I’d like to see that get fixed, but I can’t help but see a culture shift under Joey. We take punches and answer the bell every time as opposed to going down.
It’s a new culture here, and we should start expecting to pull out tough wins as opposed to the “Typical Tech” bullshit folks start pulling out in the third quarter of these games.
