Welcome to my Weekly Game Day Thread Highlights, where each week I'll hand-select my favorite posts from the weekly game thread. Texas Tech football got back into the win column this past weekend as they walked through the Lamar Cardinals to the tune of a 77-0 score. This marks the first 77-0 score I have cared about since OU beat down Aggie with the same score, and appropriately named Johnny Jolly danced late in the fourth quarter when he stopped an OU running back behind the line of scrimmage on fourth down, even though Stoops was mercifully trying to run the clock out by basically having his guys lay down. As high as the score board digits rose, the official game thread had a near record low number of total posts. I'll do a regression analysis at a later date to see if there is some meaningful correlation.
