It may sound crazy tonight, but you can now count me amongst the Kliffers. I've called for his head in the past. I know this 5-5 result looks the same as previous years, but its not. I think this this the first season we've been competitive in every game. If a few bounces/injuries had gone our way, who knows...
I'm willing to give him next season (and next season only) with a healthy Alan Bowman, because I know that hiring another coach (Littrell) means hitting the reset button. There will always be an up-and-coming coach to hire, but I think pushing the "new coach" button always means waiting at least a few years for results. It's a gamble I'm willing to take, especially considering Bowman's potential.
And to be clear, this is not a criticism of those who are ready to push that button; definitely understandable. It's just where I'm at.
