Gettings will actually graduate from Cornell in December:

"It will depend on the situation whether I enroll at my new school right away or I sit out and join the new team next summer. Either way, I will be ready to go for the 2019-2020 season." Quote from story here: https://vanderbilt.rivals.com/news/stone-gettings-excited-about-vanderbilt-contact
