After complaining about KK's promise of donations based on scoring this weekend, I have realized I needed a complete overhaul. I apologize to KK, to Robert Gio and the athletic department who work hard to make Tech better every day, and to all my fellow Red Raiders.
I have lived in the shadow of TCU, under the constant barrage of The Ticket's OU sympathizers, and in the presence of aggots too long.
It's made me far too gun-shy of Tech doing anything and then experiencing a wave of put-downs and derision from the f'ing horde of haters that seemingly pounce on anything we do. As a result, I have become complicit in their attacks on my own university. NO MORE!!
First, I screwed up and I am sorry. I am sorry for responding poorly to a well intentioned effort by my coach and my school...for flinching before anyone of the hateful horde fired the inevitable first shot. I will not repeat that mistake any more.
They can kiss my ass if they think our efforts are too feeble or too small or not as cool as what they would have done. They aren't us and we do not answer to them!! and I will no longer let them dictate how I respond to well intentioned efforts by my alma mater.
