I know every game is its own and technically A+B≠C, but I thought this was interesting.
Arkansas held the ball for 29.19 min to UTEP's 30.41. That translates to a point per minute rate of:
Ark at 1.64 pts/min
UTEP at 0.43 pts/min
Tech held the ball for only 19.45 min to UTEP's 40.15. That gives us:
Tech at 3.55 pts/min
UTEP at a similar value of 0.55 pts/min
If Arky doesn't run the ball for the whole game, we are going to absolutely destroy them. The Toledo debacle and their WR injuries may force them to run more, but don't you guys think it will be hard for them to switch their identity after they've been practicing a more balanced system all spring and summer?
