I have a buddy getting married in Silverthorne in August. We've never been in the summer and I assume there's a ton of stuff to do, but I'd like specific recs if anyone has any. We're trying to decide on whether we're just going up for the wedding and coming back or if we'll try and make a vacation out of it.
Been to breck in the winter twice. it's a nice place, but not worth more than an extra night or 2. My wife isn't huge on outdoor or adventure type stuff, she would participate but she could take it or leave it, and we'll probably stay an extra day or 2 to do something like that either way. Looking more for info about Denver if possible.
