Alright everyone this will be a lengthy posts so stay with me.
A few of us have come together and will be relaunching the Collin County TTAA chapter. With the size of Collin County and the amount of Red Raiders here this chapter should be one of, if not the largest and strongest chapters in the TTAA.
That said the new board will be myself, @RaiderSmoke , @W. McKay ,@LondonRedRaider and @Daddyrusses. We have lots of chairs and committee members to fill as well. The TTAA has several responsibilities, and we will be tackling everything. This runs from communication with HQ to a golf tournament to happy hours to scholarships and more. The vision is to build this chapter into a real networking opportunity, directory for Red Raider owned businesses, offer family fun events to brainwash the next generation of Red Raiders, provide scholarships to students and provide a fundraising tool for the TTAA overall. Some others currently involved are @TTmoose75 @aybuddy777 @GCRRFan and @msands99.
We want to come to RRS to find some passionate Red Raiders to get involved and help build this chapter back up.
FIRST AND BIGGEST NEED: We need to find a communications/social media chair. This person will be in charge of emailing the chapter with upcoming events and opportunities. This person also needs to pump content out on all the social media accounts. People need to know how awesome our golf tournament will be (and trust me it will be amazing), they need to know where the watch party is as we stomp the Ducks and when the next business networking event will be. If you have any interest in this role please DM me and we can talk about it. This is a critical piece so really make sure you have the margin and tech savvy to do this job well. You will have a whole team under you as well to be a resource. Golf, HH/Watch Party chairs will all be involved with content as well. Even if you're a recent grad this could be a great role for you. Also for you Dad's and Mom's on the board, this committee could be a great way for a current student to get some marketing/social media/communications experience.
Some needs today-
Golf Tournament @aybuddy777 Will be heading this committee with the assistance of others. We definitely need volunteers to help still and want to build a larger group to make sure the golf tournament is a success. This in itself is also a great networking opportunity.
Happy Hour/Watch Parties- @Redraider524 will be heading this committee and will need help setting up all these different events.
Scholarship chair and committee- This role is completely available currently and will have a team behind it as well.
The sky is the limit with Collin County and if we put the effort in this we can really build this chapter to be a resource for alumni, future students and obviously Texas Tech as well. Opportunities like this are great ways to put faces to handles and really connect with other Red Raiders.
