I know we're all flush with the glow of having new coordinators and top-notch portal transfers falling in our lap and all, but I could use some help with a travel question.
My work gifted us all with $500 SWA gift cards for Christmas, which is super generous and very much appreciated, but I never ever fly SWA and have been AA loyal for a long time. And, I am trying to line up tickets on AA this June to take the whole family to London, so if there is a way to convert this SWA gift card to AA it would go a long way towards the large bill that AA will want to get the Viva Terlingua family to London.
Thought I would just socialize this dilemma to the group here at large, esp. since everyone here has had tons of great travel advice when I've thrown out questions, so if anyone has any pro tips on how to do that I'm all ears.
And, I'll just throw this out there as well - if anyone flys SWA and is interested in the card, I will sell it for $450 (this is on the up and up, I still have the gift box we all got and a little note with the SWA logo on it and everything).
