Chicago transportation recs-Taxis vs UBER

I have to go to Chicago on business next month. Basically from O’Hare to hotel then back to airport the next afternoon. Been years since I was there.

Taxi vs. UBER? Is one better than the other, or does it really matter? Appreciate your thoughts.
